Six-year-old Reece Keyes created Jogging 4 Jesus, a fundraiser to bring Christian radio to those who can't get to church.

On April 16, Keyes and a group of his neighbours and friends were out on the streets spreading the word.

The youngter designed T-shirts to wear for the event and wanted to invite everyone to run in their neighbourhood with family and friends.

"I want to raise money for Jesus because where people don't have churches to attend they can listen to the radio and hear pastors preaching," said Keyes.

All funds donated go directly to 95.5 KFM, Sudbury's Christian radio station.

"Reece is already planning what he will do to support the Share-a-thon next Fall. This year, we had a team of people organizing the event and we had ages two to 80 years old and older walking and running in support of Christian radio," said Reece's mother, Sara.

Sara said Reece was also approached by an unnamed local businessperson, who decided to match dollar-for-dollar everything that is raised for Jogging 4 Jesus.

If you are interested in donating, contact KFM radio at (705) 674-2585 and be sure to mention that you are supporting Jogging 4 Jesus.

The radio station will be hosting the Share-a-thon on April 21 at 2150 Lasalle Blvd.
