Getting warmer, but the snow is on the way

It's pick your poison week in Sudbury as far as Mother Nature is concerned. The frigid temperatures that chilled the city throughout the week are finally breaking, but a big snowfall could be right behind it.

It's pick your poison week in Sudbury as far as Mother Nature is concerned.

The frigid temperatures that chilled the city throughout the week are finally breaking, but a big snowfall could be right behind it.

Snow is forecast throughout the day Friday, amount will be anywhere between 5 to 10 cm. High will be -8.

Periods of snow are expected in the evening as well with up to 10 cm falling.

The temperature will not be down in the -25 range as it has been of late, Friday evening's low is -13.
