Lotto 6/49 ticket worth $10K unclaimed in Sudbury

A $10,000 lottery ticket was printed in Sudbury, but remains unclaimed. 

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation issued notice on Jan. 19 that the winner has two weeks to claim their prize.

The winning Lotto 6/49 ticket for the Feb. 2, 2022, draw had numbers 2, 5, 0, 7, 8, 9, 1. 

Players must match the first six of the seven Encore numbers in exact order to win the $10,000

In a media release, the OLG noted the ticket’s owner should fill in the back portion, sign it and contact OLG Customer Care at 1-800-387-0098.

OLG is booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. They strongly encourage those with claims between $1,000 and $49,999.90 to submit them online or mail them in. Submitting claims online is considered by the organization to be fast and secure. 

Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options.

Players can check their winning numbers from home in the following ways: 

  • Visiting OLG.ca to view the winning numbers.
  • An OLG app can be used on a mobile device to scan tickets’ barcodes and wait for a message to appear on the screen.
  • Sign up on OLG.ca for winning numbers to be emailed to you.
  • Phone the OLG’s WIN! line at 1-866-891-8946.
