Please don't go door-to-door, hospice asks walk participants

To be on the safe side, Maison Vale Hospice is asking the community not to give to strangers, if someone knocks on your door seeking sponsorship for the 2015 RBC Hike for Hospice.

"Although we appreciate all the support, we do not encourage door-to-door canvasing," the hospice advised in an April 7 news release.

This year's hike will be held May 3, starting at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre in Bell Park.

Participants can also register to collect pledges online.
