One of the pioneers of the Sudbury business community passed away Aug. 19 at the age of 86. Donald Steel was born in Drake, Saskatchewan in 1928, and was raised in Teeswater, Ont.

City's gas prices still at about 111.6
Gas prices remained stable over the long weekend. Most gas stations in Greater Sudbury are still charging about 111.6, the same as Friday, according to GasBuddy.com . The city's cheapest gas is at the Independent at the Pumps on Lorne, at 109.
