Levack wedding stag leads to numerous charges

As a result of a wedding stag in Levack Friday night, Greater Sudbury Police were kept busy dealing with a series of alcohol-related criminal offences.

As a result of a wedding stag in Levack Friday night, Greater Sudbury Police were kept busy dealing with a series of alcohol-related criminal offences.

Shane Nash, 22, was arrested and charged with causing a disturbance when he was found by police running down the streets of Levack nude, yelling, swearing, screaming and taunting police. Nash was held for bail court and was released when sober. 

watch video clipAlso on Friday night, a Levack resident was attacked by another male while he was in the backyard of his home, sitting by a campfire. The attack was unprovoked and the victim had to be treated in hospital for facial injuries. Police believe the person responsible may have also attended the aforementioned wedding stag. 

Troy Campbell, 28, has since been arrested in relation to the unprovoked assault.

This investigation is ongoing. Police believe a second unknown male party may have been involved.
