Greater Sudbury Police responded to a complaint of robbery Wednesday evening just before 9 pm at Peddlers Pub on Cedar St.
A male armed with a pair of scissors, stole an undisclosed amount of cash while brandishing the scissors as a weapon. No one was injured during the robbery.
Responding police units flooded the area and had the suspect in custody only minutes after receiving a complaint.
A 31-year-old Sudbury man has been charged with robbery, possessing a dangerous weapon, possessing stolen property and breach of court orders.
