UPDATE: The Greater Sudbury Police Service have charged Patrick Bibeau, 20, of Sudbury, with first-degree murder in the death of Brian Burns.
Bibeau is scheduled to appear in Bail Court.
Police have warrants for two residences and the Forensics Branch is continuing to collect evidence as the investigation continues.
Investigators with the Greater Sudbury Police Service have taken an adult male into custody for the homicide in Hanmer, which occurred on Sept. 13.
At this time, charges are pending as police continue the investigation and the collection of evidence in this matter.
The identity of the suspect will not be released at this time and further information will be provided when it becomes available.
