As a result of an ongoing investigation and information received regarding individuals who were selling alcohol, cigarettes, producing and selling pirated DVD’s from their Front St. residence in Massey, Espanola OPP officers executed a search warrant on the morning of March 2.
A total of 5,000 pirated DVD’s, satellite receivers, computer and electronic equipment along with other offence related property was seized from the residence.
Charged with Possession of Device to Obtain Telecommunication Facility or Service, Theft of Telecommunication Service, two charges under the Copyright Act and one charge under the Radiocommunication Act are: Charlene Phillips, 41, Leonard Phillips, 35 and Mark Caldwell, 21, all from Massey, ON.
The investigation is continuing and further charges are pending.
