Graduation is a time to celebrate accomplishments with family and friends, stated an OPP news release. It is also a time to think about enjoying the celebrations in safety.
Officers of the Sudbury and Espanola OPP will be focusing their attention on those who fail to make safety a priority when celebrating their graduations. Officers will be looking for underage drinking, drinking and driving, trespassing, property damage, drug offences, and other actions that put people or property at risk.
Plan graduation celebrations with safety in mind, continued the news release. Have a designated driver, stay the night or call a cab.
