The main collision in the accident involved a black Oldsmobile passenger vehicle and a red dump truck, while other vehicles including a red Ford pickup truck and a grey Toyota passenger vehicle also sustained damage. To date the police investigation has left the investigators with conflicting accounts of the circumstances surrounding the motor vehicle collision and the Greater Sudbury Police Service is appealing to the public for information from any independent person who may have witnessed this incident.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service urges those individuals who have information relating to this and other such incidents to contact the police and provide their information in a timely manner.  Motor vehicle collisions are so frequent that they are sometimes viewed as insignificant while persons involved in these incidents sometimes endure lasting physical, psychological and financial effects.
