The Greater Sudbury Police Service will be holding session four of the Crime Prevention Academy tonight from 6 to 8 pm at Tom Davies Square's Council Chambers.

Tonight's  free course will cover topics such as money/identity theft and frauds, scams and counterfeits and is open to the public.

The Crime Prevention Academy gives participants the opportunity to develop safe and secure habits and lifestyles, stated a Greater Sudbury Police Service news release. They can share knowledge with others or organize workshops and awareness sessions.

The Crime prevention Academy will be tied to Community Watch, a web program that keeps citizens in touch with what is going on in their neighbourhoods. Community Watch, which is set to launch this fall, will be operated through voice digital messaging and online web alerts.
