Members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service are in the process of investigating a missing persons complaint.
Joyce Burns was last seen July 12 in the area of Isabel Street with an unknown male. The pair were supposed to be heading off to Wasaga Beach, with Burns supposedly returning July 14. However, she has not been seen or heard from. In addition she failed to show up for work on July 15.
Family members contacted the Greater Sudbury Police as this behaviour is abnormal for Burns and they are concerned for her safety.
Wasaga Beach OPP has been notified of the incident and are checking the area for her.
Joyce Burns is described as a 50-year-old caucasian woman with short, straight black hair. She is about 4-8.
Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to contact Greater Sudbury Police.
