Theft of roadside screening device

The Greater Sudbury Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for a theft from one of the Police Service’s snow machines.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for a theft from one of the Police Service’s snow machines.

While on patrol in the area the Roundhouse Restaurant in Capreol, an officer had a roadside screening device and a ticket book holder removed from a storage container of a Ski-doo.  The officer was assisting others when the theft took place.

The theft occurred on Feb. 27 between 4:10 and 4:55 pm.

The make of the roadside screening device is Dräger.  It is approx. 3 inches by 10 inches in size.  Also, on the instrument, there is a rubber mount for the mouth piece.
