BY BILL BRADLEY Greater Sudbury Police have cracked down on prostitution in the downtown area, encompassing the Elgin Street strip and a nearby neighbourhood.

A young man has been charged as a result of a fatal collision which took place on Municipal Road 55 in Lively on July 30.

Three people are dead as a result of a car crash Aug. 9 near the Pine Grove Golf Club on Highway 69. The collision involved two vehicles, which were both northbound at the time.

The Ministry of Natural Resources is strengthening its enforcement capacity with the addition of three canine services teams to assist field conservation officers in their investigations and other duties.

UPDATE: A post mortem examination was conducted on Aug. 8. The cause of death was determined to be Mechanical Asphyxiation. A 21-year-old has died following an accident on his ATV on Manitoulin Island. On Thursday around 9:30 p.m.
