Foothill Farms is hosting an open house on
Saturday, Oct. 29, to showcase what it has to offer to both
young and old.
The event starts at 5 pm and people are asked
to dress warmly.
The open house will include a demonstration
showing dressage movements and how they relate to jumpers. It
will also include a Jumper Speed Class with some of the most
competitive riders in Northern Ontario. People will be guided
through the jump course, with explanations of the difficulty
of
elements, as well as, how the horse sees and
performs each jump.
There will be snacks and refreshments. The
whole event is expected to last about two hours.
Foothill Farms is also hosting a
Hunter/Jumper clinic with renowned rider Hyde Moffat. He will
be on hand to answer any questions, help with the demonstration
and judge the competition. Hyde is regarded as one of Canada's
top up-and-coming riders.
