After a successful 2004 season and coming off a successful recruiting off-season, the Laurentian Lady Vees soccer team had some hopeful expectations going into the 2005 season.

The Wolves then further bolstered their depth prior to the trade deadline Tuesday by picking up forwards Mark Versteeg-Lytwyn and the rights to Mathis Olimb from Sarnia for a 2007 fourth round draft pick.

The Sudbury Wolves made another splash in the trade market, acquiring six-foot-six, 216-pound defenceman Nicholas Tuzzolino from Sarnia for rugged defender Thomas Sample and Saginaw's second round draft pick in 2006.
