Lacrosse league holds clinics for coaches, officials The Greater Sudbury Lacrosse Association needs coaches and officials. Clinics will be held at the Barrydowne Arena on Saturday, April 27 for both.

The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey Association is pleased to announce the winner of the NOJHA Scholastic Player of the Year is Daniel Lafontaine of the Sturgeon Falls Lynx.

Senior games registration

The annual District 3 Sudbury Senior Games are just around the corner. The games run between May 4 and June 6 and registration is being held until April 30 at the Older Adult Centre at 140 Durham St. No registrations will be accepted after April 30.

Learn to sail

The Sudbury Yacht Club is offering learn to sail lessons for both youth and adults. Youth sailing camps run for five days from 9 am to 4 pm daily. You may register for more than one session. Sessions start July 8 and end Aug. 16.

Wolves sticking around

Don't worry hockey fans, the Wolves aren't going anywhere anytime soon, except maybe to the golf course after a short playoff run.

Making It Shine

The Sportsman Show will end today (Sunday) at the City Centre downtown, former Eatons location. Presented by Dac Marketing, over 60,000 square feet of boats, fishing displays and personal watercraft are on display.

Boxing fans are in for another treat this weekend as the Ontario National Training Centre (ONTC) hosts a Spring in the Ring card at Azilda's Trillium Centre, home of the ONTC.

Volleyball Players Needed

The Team Easton Connexion Slo-Pitch team will be running a co-ed volleyball tournament on May 4 and 5. All teams are guaranteed three matches and the entry fee is $200 per team.
