New Orleans Pizza is holding its ninth annual school fundraising nights this week, from May 7 to 9. For those three nights, half of all evening sales will be donated to local schools and day cares.

Following much delay and court procedure, the case for the 32-year-old man accused of shooting Buddy the Hero Dog has been adjourned to June 4. Simeon Smith was represented by his lawyer, William Beach, at his May 7 court date. He didn't appear.
