Early Thursday morning a man stabbed a woman on Mont Adam Street near The Kingsway.
During an argument, the man stabbed the woman 11 times. Witnesses stopped to assist the woman.
She is now in hospital and is expected to recover.
Police are seeking Michael Sellen, 47, of the Donovan area, for questioning.
