Search for missing tree planter called off

After seven days of fruitless searching, Ontario Provincial Police have called off their hunt for a man reported missing in the bush in northwestern Ontario.

Man beaten, robbed in Bell Park

A 68-year-old man was treated and released from hospital this weekend following an attack in Bell Park. Police say the man was walking on the boardwalk at around 5:30 am Saturday when he was attacked and robbed.
