By Keith Lacey The long arm of the law finally caught up to a Toronto man who committed an armed robbery at a Sudbury pizza joint eight years ago.

An early morning fire Friday at the Civic Memorial Cemetery on Second Avenue destroyed a number of cemetery vehicles and an equipment storage shed today. The Ontario Fire Marshal?s office has been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.

A Sudbury senior who contrived an elaborate scheme to bilk an elderly couple out of almost $115,000 will find out in November whether or not she?s going to jail. Shirley Lebel, 64, pleaded guilty Wednesday to fraud over $5,000.
