BY SCOTT HADDOW Laurentian University Lady Vees basketball guard Cassandra Carpenter racked up 33 points in a 92-83 win over York University Wednesday night to get within striking distance of a major CIS record.

The Laurentian basketball teams held their Battle for Breast Cancer game on Jan. 19 when they took on the Carleton Ravens at the Ben Avery Gymnasium. The event raised $1,926 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
