Thanks to Molly R. Hancock for saying what I should have said more than a decade ago about Viki Mather. (Reader enjoys In the Bush, April 2.) I wish to emphasise the fact that Mather goes beyond the bush, and spreads into other areas of our life.

Lord Luv a Duck! I just don't believe it at all. I'm writing in response to the recent letter with the headline "Bureaucrats closing Sudbury for business," by Lionel Rudd. on March 26 in Northern Life.

Did I miss it or was the mayor's new adviser's job posted? I fail to see the need to hire someone to have a "good relationship with Queen's Park." I thought that was what our MPPs were there for.

It is amazing that Northern Life, Greater Sudbury's Community Newspaper, neglected to cover an extremely significant community event recently.

My daughter Jennifer Muscka was in the car accident Feb. 6 on Dominion Drive. We want to thank the police, fire department, the paramedics and the emergency staff at St. Joesph's for their quick response.

I received my first combined water/hydro bill this week. Imagine my shock at opening up a $650 bill. I nearly fell to the floor. Who's great idea was this? We own our home which is heated electrically.
