Festival offers family-oriented fun
This year's Northern Lights Festival Boréal will be a family-friendly event. According to a press release from Northern Lights Festival Boréal (NLFB), children 10 and under will be admitted into the festival for free, when accompanied by an adult.

Greater Sudbury band wins big at Ontario Pop competition
Leila, a Greater Sudbury-based music group consisting of students and former students from École secondaire Macdonald-Cartier, won four of six prizes handed out at the Ontario Pop awards. Some of Leila's awards were for best group and best song.

My Car - Hanmer man turns Impala into rolling entertainment
Conrad Leduc has invested a lot of time and money into his 2003 Chevy Impala, which he purchased six years ago from a local car rental company. He paid $18,000 for the car. It has recently been appraised at $63,000.
