BY LIZ FLEMING They say it’s healthy to stretch beyond your normal boundaries – to do something that makes your toes tingle. Exploring the Resurgence Cave on the Rio Camuy near San Juan, Puerto Rico was exactly what the travel doctor ordered.

A Remembrance Day service was held at the Sudbury Arena Nov. 11. Veterans and community members remembered the First World War, the Second World War and the Korean War during the 90-minute service.

The Elgin Street Mission dished up its one millionth meal, on Tuesday, Nov. 10, as it continued its 20-year effort to help the less fortunate in Greater Sudbury. The recipient was Brenda Wills, a long time client and volunteer with the charity.

Award-winning classical guitarist Gabriel Bianco will be performing in Sudbury on Nov. 25 at 8 p.m, as part of Cambrian College's Concert Series. The performance will take place at the Cambrian College Amphitheatre in room 2226.

The Silver Birch String Quartet will be performing its second concert on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m.

Producer Brandon Nutt, formerly of Sudbury and now working in Hollywood, has returned home to shoot his latest film, in which Sudbury will double as a Colorado town. His company, Nutthouse Moving Pictures, began shooting Phase One Monday, Nov. 9.
