UPDATE - Two Greater Sudbury Utilities workers were taken to St. Joseph's Health Centre during the afternoon of July 28 after they came in contact with a live cable. The workers were conducting service line changes at the time of the accident.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested July 27 at around 2 a.m. after police caught her sleeping inside a stolen vehicle on Magill Street in Lively. The vehicle was found to have been taken from the Donovan area earlier in the day.

Thefts from Hydro One on Falconbridge Road

There have been three separate break, enter and thefts reported by Hydro One on Falconbridge Road so far this July. The thefts have involved large amounts of copper and aluminum. In on of the incidents, an Argo worth $30,000 was stolen.

Greater Sudbury Police attended to a report of an assault Saturday July 25 at about 11:30 p.m. at an apartment complex at 1960 Paris Street.

Search warrant results in arrests

A search of a residence and adjacent business on Bond Street July 23 at around 11 p.m. resulted in the seizure of 113 grams of marijuana, $6,965 in cash, a digital scale and packaging material. A man and a woman were arrested on the scene.

Greater Sudbury Police are still looking for a robbery suspect. At 9:05 pm, Saturday July 25, a lone male entered Dino's Confectionary at 975 Lorne St. in the West End of the city.
