An 18-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man are facing seven charges each after they were arrested following the execution of a search warrant on Jan. 31. The warrant was executed at an address on Eva Street.

UPDATED - Feb. 1, 2:51 p.m. Highway 69 was re-opened at 12:35 p.m. Jan. 31 after a collision on Highway 69 near Burwash which killed one person, and left another with serious injuries.

An 18-year-old man is facing multiple charges after Greater Sudbury Police executed a search warrant in a Mountain Street home, and found a variety of drugs valued at $1,800 and $2,600 in cash.

A chain reaction collision occurred on Lasalle Boulevard at Auger Street during the evening of Jan. 29. A vehicle stopped at the traffic lights on Lasalle was struck from behind by another vehicle.

A 21-year-old Alban man is facing charges after a collision between a snowmobile and a pickup truck on Jan. 22. The accident happened about 2:30 a.m. on Delamere Road in Alban.

Greater Sudbury Police continue to search for two bank robbery suspects. The Bank of Montreal, situated at the corner of Main Street and Hwy. 69 N, in Val Caron, was robbed by two males at about 2:50 p.m. Jan. 22, said a release by police.
