A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a single snowmobile accident on Ramsey Lake Feb. 7 just after 6 p.m.

A man is facing impaired driving charges after rear-ending a pickup truck in the Hanmer area Feb. 5 around 9:15 p.m.

UPDATED - Feb. 5, 1:33 p.m. A "serious" accident accident involving two vehicles on Skead Road trapped one of the drivers in the vehicle until Sudbury Fire Services was able to cut the driver free. The accident, which happened around 10 a.m., Feb.

A report of a break and enter in progress allowed Greater Sudbury Police to catch the alleged robbers in the act. Police responded to a Laforest Street residence at 7:20 a.m., Feb. 3, and found two women inside the residence.

UPDATED - Feb. 4, 12:55 p.m. A fire that broke out at the Balmoral Apartments on Bruce Street around 8 p.m. Feb. 3 has resulted in the death of two men.

Drugs with a street value of about $3,500, 34.35 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of marijuana, and almost $1,000 were seized Feb. 2 during the execution of a search warrant.

UPDATED - Feb. 3, 10:15 a.m. A stand-off between a barricaded man and Greater Sudbury Police in the Whitson Gardens area of Chelmsford is over, after the lone occupant of the house in question turned himself in to police.

UPDATED - Feb. 2, 6:16 p.m. Two people are dead following a collision between a pickup truck and a transport on Highway 17, shortly past noon on Feb. 2.

A speeding driver in Azilda had his drive end in injury and charges after he lost control of the vehicle and struck an ambulance and another vehicle in the afternoon of Feb. 1. Around 4:15 p.m.

A suspicious vehicle complaint around 3 p.m. has led to a more in-depth investigation by Greater Sudbury Police.
