Officers of the Traffic Management Unit conducted enforcement over the weekend in response to an increase in collisions over the winter months. Since Jan 1, 818 collisions were reported to the Greater Sudbury Police Service.

A 38-year-old Niagara Falls man died yesterday following a collision with his snow machine while on a trail in Powassan.

Update - Greater Sudbury Police have recovered the stolen 1996 silver Honda Accord taken from Toronto. Police are still searching for the the female and male suspects thought to be responsible for a theft of gas on Regent St.
