Man charged with assaulting cops suing three officers, police service board

BY KEITH LACEY klacey@northernlife.ca A man currently on trial for assaulting police and other charges has launched a $300,000 lawsuit against three officers with the Greater Sudbury Police Service and the police services board.

Inco suit denied

A $750-million class-action suit lawsuit filed by residents of Port Colborne against Inco has been thrown out of court by a panel of Ontario Divisional Court judges. The panel indicated the lawsuits could be pursued individually.
