City council has just tried to trap a group of local volunteers into buying the R.G. Dow Pool.

The current municipal council is divesting themselves of publicly owned facilities. One year, they spent millions of dollars to try and take over Union Gas, now they want to privatize public facilities likes arenas and pools.

In the past, NASA sent astronauts here to simulate moon landings. Our landscape was rocky and devoid of vegetation. I congratulate everyone involved in turning that bleak landscape into a lush environment.
