BY WENDY BIRD When it comes to being inspired by the world around them, teenagers are often quite receptive, and Lively's Kent Cox is no exception. The 18-year-old has just finished penning his first book of poetry, called Hazel Brown Eyes.

On Wednesday Oct. 31, approximately 200 carved pumpkins will be on display in the Algonquin Road Public School gymnasium. The display will be open to public viewing Halloween Day from 1:30 to 2:00 pm. The school is located at 2650 Algonquin Road.
