Local boxer heads to international Francophone competition
Justin Bonhomme, of Sudbury's Top Glove Boxing Academy, will represent Canada and Sudbury at the Francophone Games in Beirut, Lebanon, beginning Sept. 27. He earned the spot after winning the final team selection event in February in Edmonton.

Home-opener weekend leaves Wolves winless
The Sudbury Wolves kicked-off the 2009-10 campaign with two losses on their home-opener weekend. On Friday night, the team fell to the Erie Otters 4-3. The Otters dominated the play early in the game, finishing the first period with a 1–0 lead.
