A 20-year-old Greater Sudbury woman is facing charges after hitting another woman in the head with a glass mug. Greater Sudbury Police responded to a Flour Mill home on Feb. 27, around 11:30 p.m., after being called about an assault.

UPDATE:Terry Mumford turned himself in around 6:30 a.m. Feb. 28, and was scheduled to attend video bail the same morning.

A man caught doing double the speed limit is in police custody after police discovered he was also breaking probation orders. On Feb. 26, around 3:30 p.m., offers were conducting radar enforcement on Notre Dame Avenue in Hanmer.
