Motorcycles, ATV stolen
Sometime overnight on Sept. 27, two motorcycles were stolen from a driveway on Beauchamp Drive in Espanola. One of the motorcycles is described as a 1976 Yamaha IT 175, blue in colour, and the other is a 2005 Honda CRF 100, red and white in colour.

A Capreol man has been caught once again behind the wheel of a motor vehicle after numerous court visits prohibiting him from driving. On Sept. 29, around 3 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Municipal Road 84 in Valley East.

Knife-wielding girl arrested
A 17-year-old girl armed with a knife was taken into police custody Sunday morning after assaulting and threatening a number of people at a Valley East residence. Police were called to the residence around 11:38 a.m. No injuries resulted.

A young man was arrested on Thursday after twice entering the LCBO on Lasalle and leaving without paying for his items. Around 6 p.m., the lone youth entered the store and grabbed an arm full of liquor of various kinds and left the store.

Five businesses and two residences in the Lorne, Regent and Whittaker Street areas were subjected to vandalism by youths between 8 p.m. Friday night and Saturday morning. The buildings were spray painted and tagged with graffiti.
